Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Hi Designers,

I thank you all for your logo designs so far. I have not long ago received notice that my proposed business name 'Platinum Design & Draft' has been formally rejected by government authorities. In frustration I was given verbal approval that there would not be a problem with it yet they have come back and rejected the name for closeness reason to a similar established business.

To my disappointment, this now put me in a position of the current logos being unusable. I have made contact with Logo Tournament administration and awaiting response to hopefully come to a resolution and have my tournament resume with a new business name.

I ask that designers please refrain from submitting logo designs until the matter at hand can be resolved.

I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused but can assure you that the tournament will resume and can only hope to see further submissions when it does so as logos to date have been impressive.

Whats the new name?

Hi Designers,

Big apologies around the confusion with the tournament. The new business name has now been formally finalised now.

It is 'Blueprint Design & Draft'. As you might appreciate with the new name the logo appearance vision has varied slightly.

The thought of a fresher approach to the design is what I am now envisaging, with obviously realitively similar target market and stylistic values.

Keen to see the revises logos.

Hi Designers,

Just some general feedback for the new concepts coming in.

I am thinking a white background is the direction I want to take with the new name as I think a softer, less bold look will suit better. I also like the idea of seeing a splash of blue (royal) in it somewhere.

The idea the name Blueprint being abbreviated to iniatials (BP) within the logo has appeal to what we are looking for.
