Here's a general logo that a friend of mine worked on that this company liked.

It might be too 'Cape Cod' feeling for this company, but its a respectable design that has a nice feel to it.

Thanks all for your entries! I extended the contest time because I had to address one global change that is essential to this logo.

Pittsburgh Boat Sales will not be dealing with sail boats, rather sport boats and cruisers. Primarily cruisers (see links below). Most of the logos have a sail in the design and, despite them looking great, does not match our market (totally my fault for not mentioning this).

I would love it if you all could revise your designs that have sails to incorporate one of the following:
1. a dock cleat
2. a cruiser boat i.e. http://www.fourwinns.com/model/V285
3. Bridge

We are not tied to using these objects, they're just suggestions.
