Thanks exodus, I definitely dig the icon. Let me know if you think this will work... what if you emphasized the scale of the boat a bit more and reduced the scale of the buildings?

I'm not a huge fan of the type treatment, however, I think it is close. I wonder if you could keep the same feel but tighten it up a bit.

absolutely! I'll keep working the concept. thanks for the feedback!

gave the boat a more prominent position, decreased the scale of the skyline and worked on the layout a bit. also a different type treatment. thanks again for the feedback... let me know what else you might like to see! i'll keep working on my end as well.
