#35 and 36# Can you please make remove the color from the world map - so it is just a faint grey outline of world?
Another idea - Can you make Pictiri "stand" on the world map? So the map would have the perspective as if it is coming out of the paper and Pictiri standing on it.
Yet another idea - the sequence of 1 and 0 (e.g. 1 0 1 1, 0 1 1 0 - any combination of these) has great significance for how our technology works. Would be possible to make the vertical bars in the bridge consist of 1's and 0's? That would make the logo ideal for our Implementers and have appeal to technologists.
yayuk, you're doing great - I knew you were awesome! You are close to one of the base designs in my mind and now I want you to go wild with it! You seem like a very passionate person - put that passion into this and let the yayuk magic show! Of course, any other ideas would be great - your the creative here!
Re: other design suggestions - avoid electronics symbols, e,g, TVs, play buttons (the right pointing triangle), headsets, etc. I like symbols to represent the core propositions - like bridge across the world.
yayuk, welcome back! I thought you had disappeared. Btw, you don't need to call me sir! It makes me feel stupid ;-)
#61 and 62 - good start with playing with perspective. However, those bridges now look a bit odd. Try these suggestions and see how they look -
(1) Remove the bridges and put Pictiri on the map. Or remove the bridges and put the tagline on the map. BTW, I like how #60 played with Face in the tagline and also how he split it. it reinforces it clause separately. (2) You may want to represent connections with a circle or overlapping circles - perhaps one for each continent as in the Olympics logo. (3) Alternatively, you want to play with links/chains as in #4. (4) #61 may be too big and #62 may be bit too small. Let's play with the size.
#76 and #77 - That's a good start. You don't need to go down all the way to Australia ;-) Try to center the bridge on the map, just make sure it starts and ends on land :-) And make the endpoints line with each other horizontally. You may want to play with a thicker font and colors. You are getting close on this concept!
I think you have the concept now and it is matter of working with special effects on the fonts/lines to make the designs prettier. For example, see #4. Also, make the tagline standout - it is a very important part of our message. The tagline has been on the weak side so far and is almost missed.
The rotated squares - you read my mind, I was thinking of them while driving earlier! But try circles and triangles as well. never know what may click visually unless actually done.
#37#36 - remove the blue background box around the map - I won't let you forget that ;-)
#83 - very nice - two tweaks and you are done with this concept -
1) Move Pictiri slightly lower so it is not getting crowded out by what is above it. You can make the font size smaller to keep the logo size reasonable.
2) Make the font for tagline a litter bigger. The tagline is a very important part.
#84 Nice - different one here. I think you can make the globe a bigger so more of the map is defined/seen. Also, can we remove the bulge on sides - don't want earth to look fat in the middle ;-)
OK - these are all the feedback for you now! I think you have several very promising concepts almost at the finish line. Just start scrolling through what i wrote above and take care of design recommendations above one by one until done. At that point I think you would have integrated all the elements in your concepts. Then you are free to fly with your imagination without me looking over your shoulder. You can either keep refining what you already have or come up with new stuff - I think you get it what I want!
one last thing #83 - can you make the color of the map "less solid" so it doesn't overpower a business card, etc. You could use the same effect as in #48 or something else - you are the creative here!
#91 - (1) make the logo a bit bigger so it feels open like someone the beach instead of a old women shivering in cold ;-). To give you an idea, look at the size of #3 and #4.
And add some color! you are too young to be not playing with colors!!!
if you have a moment before you start on your next design - finish of #36 and #37 -
1) Move Pictiri slightly lower so it is not getting crowded out by what is above it. You can make the font size smaller to keep the logo size reasonable.
2) Make the font for tagline a litter bigger. The tagline is a very important part.
(3) You need to remove the blue background box for the map + the above. Then we are done with these two! They are your best productions so far. Do you like them?
I just posted a concept idea on the wall if someone wants to run with it. Check it out. But before you run with it, complete the tweaks suggested/requested above ;-)
#96 much better - good you removed the smile, looks much more apt for our target audience. it is also definitely more alive. Yeah, play with font style or size (like making it bigger/ and or thinner). And colors as well to make it bit more alive. With that you would be done with this concept!
#96 - you can it slightly bigger to "open" it up a bit/ I like openness. Also, increase the font size of your tagline. If you have to go to a second line as others have done, that's OK.
General - getting a lot of negative feedback regarding the use of smiley. The main concern is that we are providing a serious business critical application and smiley has no face in there. I am inclined to agree. So let's put the word Face back in designs and I will leave it to you to figure out how to do that in a creative way so as to get both messages - Face Time Transformed and Time Transformed out. I think using a different color for Face and some accent on or around it (e.g. the way it was done in #60) is one way to go.
This feedback is going to everyone using a smiley.
#109, #110 It's good concept; however, the globe is still too dark that 0101 on it don't stand out and are hard to read. BTW, what is the distance between the two?
Also, you have the tagline font size perfect. Don't mess with it ;-)
one or more of this family of logos are surely going to end up as finalists. So you should fix these ASAP - it would be time well spent as only tweaks are required. Get the font size right for both Pictiri and the tagline, remove the smiley and do something creative with the Face in Face Time Transformed. Here is suggestion for that - you can thank me later ;-) You can put a solid horizontal oval around the word Face in appropriate color. Make the lower edge of that oval of different color so it seems it is smiling. This is just a suggestion to open you to new direction.
#36 Make it similar to #83 - remove the blue background box behind the map so you are just left with the bright blue map. that would be version 1. In version 2, lighten the solidness of the colored map by using a different kind of fill (e.g. dots or lines as in #48).
#83 Create another version - lighten the solidness of the colored map by using a different kind of fill (e.g. dots or lines as in #48).
