: ) Entry #s 1, 2 -- LIKE: I like the J-with-p square, as it's close to a brand identity thingee. I like the mod custom text, and I like the tri-tone cleaness. DON'T LIKE: mod text is great, but this might be a bit too mod. Photography is too small. : )
: ) Thanks! #13 Text is a bit better than #s 1,2, but I think it is possibly too modish and techie, rather than expensive or elegant... it's a bit hard to read, as well. Maybe less action 'sports shooter' and more 'euro-smooth-mod' type text? Photography better, but somehow still too weak(?) Also, it must have impact sitting on a plain bkg, without the help of a gradient behind. : )
Thanks. : ) #20, #21 I'm still not on with the text... not crazy about serif font -- though I do like Prada's serif font for some reason -- I like euro-clean-sophisticated-light-architectural san serif fonts best, but like fun mod-round, as well. number twenty four's font from this contest https://logotournament.com/contests/designog might be something...
Thanks again- I like #42, but I'm still a stuck on #22 and its cool text-logo thingee... but, I'd need it in grey-n-red or grey-n-orange or maybe even grey-n-olive(?) I don't know... but grey and something... My site is a template that changes from white to black with no way for me to change it, so it has to show up on both.
I'm so on for this symbol thingee... it has the makings of a brand in it -- which is what I want to get going. Are you open to following this through with more materials after the contest? (letterhead, thank you cards, etc)
The 'photography' size is good now. I like the open J in the symbol, though I'm not sure better than the first... it'll take staring at to decide.... I like #22 and #51 fonts... they are very different, but both work. I lean to #22s font, but don't know why. (more like a brand...? a bit goofier like me...?...I don't know) Thoughts: Perhaps an open J, but still using the rounded rectangle, instead of a circle? Maybe the symbol could follow my name... like a 'mark' (?) Also: I need to see #22 in grey to make a final on that, as I'm stuck with my site template right now... [it's a downer that I have to semi-tailor my branding design for a measly website that I'm tied to right now... but to switch sites would be a nightmare of work and time I don't have, as all the shots on the site have been cropped and sized for its exact specs]
Thanks for your prompt feedback. I'm glad you are pleased. I'll get back to you later... Absolutely! I'd be happy to submit a proposal with regards to stationery materials application. Good day!
Thanks once again-- you rock! OK, I think we've got it: I like the text shape/font in #22 and #77 [I think they are the same but a bit of size difference(?)] Their text has got punch, but is rounded and non-threatening...like me. Of course, the 'photography' in #77 is much better. Definitely readable now. I like BOTH #22 and #77 JSP symbols, even though one is closed and one open... can't decide. Forget the circle, (I think). WHAT I THINK MIGHT MAKE IT: either #22 or #77 font/text & JSP symbol, BUT... make it a smaller symbol, and located after my name, instead of before, and aligned more top than middle or bottom. It would also be great to see it in red like #22, substituting the black for grey, and... any other combo you think might work, as well.
#123 and #122 are fantastic! I can't wait to see it with the symbol closed, as well. PS - I had a had time changing the color due to jpg compression artifact... just wanted to see it in red and a gold-yellow-ochre-y -- somewhere like my mockup... : ) very cool.
Hey there! I've been trying to get you feedback for a while, but I've got a very spotty internet connection right now, and this is the first time I've been able to get on in a while. Here's what I think: It's hard to beat #135 with anything... I like #150 a lot for concept... the 'photography' and logo in-line is brilliant. A touch of elegance AND corporate. But, I think the font is maybe a bit too congested... I don't know... not romantic enough(?) flowing enough(?). So... I'm thinking now that I should go with #135 with no logo for my consumer clients' invoices, invites, thank you cards, etc... and just put the logo in-line with photography (like it is in #150) for my corporate clients' materials. Turning the logo/symbol on and off is really what turns the "corporate feel" on and off for me. What a winner. Thanks a whole lot.
