#36 I like your idea and concept. The colours are different then I imagined but they are growing on me. Perhaps the pawprint could be a little smaller. The pawprint seems to overpower the name and not enhance it. You also might want to try it on the top. Any other variations of the pawprint?? :)

#36 There is little contrast between the green and the blue in the pawprint. It blends together and makes it more difficult to tell what it is. :)

Thanks for the feedback. I like the green/blue variation. It looks more "earth friendly". However, I have had my store for almost 18 years, long before PetSmart entered Canada. I am guessing that is who you are referring to. The colours of my current logo are blue and red with a yellow background. Unfortunately, I am going to have to change the name of my store. I was trying to keep the colours similar so when I change names my customers will see some similarity. My store is a combination of a Costco and a Walmart. It has a "Warehouse" look. My image is one of a large discount superstore that does not sell pets. Although the current trend is to "earth friendly", I am debating how that would fit in with my image or whether I should change.

:)thank you for feedback......the design is easily brand-able, cute, something remembered.... ..;)yes I was referring to petsmart and petco(both use the red/blue colors) tomorrow I will try integrating the yellow in....I can easily tweak logo, taking fish, cat out adding bone, toy, ball, etc....(this may be a great Idea, for sign-age, toy area could have paw + a ball, food area paw + bowl of food, grooming paw + comb/brush, and so on....sorry, now I'm rambling;))

I can easily change colors(even after my design is chosen, to show multiple variations....)

#73 Thanks for the new logo. I don't think you would be able to tell what the logo icon was from far away, The Panda had a lot of expression and feeling in his face. It would be a character you could like. Sorry, but this image didn't do that. It lacked a lot of colour and expression. I'm sure the Panda was a lot of work. One of the reasons I hesitate about the paw print is because it seems like every pet business uses a paw. I was hoping to find something different. Thanks for trying.

#83 Very Nice. Perhaps the head could be a little less round. Maybe more droopy ears. I like the hearts, but maybe you could change the heart in the scarf to a Maple Leaf.
Thanks

#84 Thanks tini1. I guess my ideas weren't that good. I like your original idea better. The long ears get in the way of the scarf. The blue background makes it look to busy. Thanks for trying my suggestion :)

I read this, but saw the #1, #2 uses paw for mark, I am confused....did you want a pawprint or something different? thnaks:)

Hi tini1.
I'm sorry you are confused. In my Brief under Style and Concept, I indicated I was looking for Word Marks, Pictorial Marks, Abstract Marks or Characters. #1 and #2 were pawprints, and several other used a pawprint, but I made no indication that was all I was looking for, I was actually looking for different ideas to choose from. I tried to make some suggestions for your pawprint, but it just wasn't working for me. You had some nice unique ideas in some of your logos such as incorporating the hearts, the dog, cat and bird, and the slogan - we love your pet. Even with your changes, I still liked #1 and #2 better. I tried to steer you in another direction in hopes that by adding a character, I might like it better and move you to #1 position. I actually like your designs much better with the name only and no icon or character. I liked the fact that you tried different colours and didn't use the same as everyone else. Thanks for all your hard work. I appreciate your effort.
