Great start...thanks for your work. A couple of comments...
1. I'd like to font to be a little more clean and professional. The "Perfect Tree" font here is a little more casual than what I'm looking for.
2. In the logo, I'd like the tree to be proportional to the real estate...in other words, I would rather the tree not have houses in it but complement the house or houses.
Very nice! I really like submission #7 as you are capturing what I was trying to accomplish.
A couple of comments...
I'd like the window to be more of the logo...don't need the heavy border around the window...would like the panes to be larger and the border to be in proportion with the pane lines.
Would like the tree to be all one color...not a different color for the trunk.
I like the way "Realty" is positioned under perfect tree in submission #1.
thanks for feedback! The idea of incorporating the border is to show the feeling of a view from the inside of the house, The border around was the wall. That helps get the idea of "indside" and "outside". I am trying to avoid the idea that it´s a picture of a tree instead of a window.
Here you have a a few more versions. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks for the explanation of what you were trying to do and for the new versions. It's so cool to see different variations. A few additional thoughts...
I think I prefer when the sky is not blue and not colored like in submission #6.
I would like to try having the words Perfect Tree not be in all caps like in some of the other submissions.
I'm generally preferring the logo to be to the left of the company name instead of above it.
Can we try some other color variations...all one color...two variations of greens...other ideas...trendy colors maybe with a little more grey in them...I'm not good with color, so I'll leave these to your expertise.
Can we also try an extremely simple version where there are only four boxes that represent the four window panes and no color in between the boxes? Just an idea.
Thanks for listening and all of your efforts here!
My favorites are now entries #14, 18, and 19. Thanks for listening to my feedback! I love what you've done with the designs. The different colors you are using are really helping me to zone in on what I like.
On #14, could you change the font to be something closer to #18, or #6? And could you create a few different versions...each in a different color? Feel free to pick colors that you think would look good.
The color mix in #19 is cool bringing in 4 different colors...i really like that. Could you try that in a color pallette that was a little more masculine?
I really appreciate the work you are doing and the commitment you've made to my contest!
Thanks again for your feedback. We always appreciate so dedicated Contest Holders :) Here you have some new versions. Some in muted tones and others in brighter colors. I know you may not like them, but I thought I should try.
Awesome work! I like the new font that you used in the latest versions. I think #21 is my favorite at this point, but I still like #19 and #24 and everytime I look at all of them, I see different things I like. It's great to have so much content to look at, so thanks for all of your work so far.
Can we try a couple of additional fonts on #21? Also, can we do a few different shades of green with the #21 option?
Also, can we do a version of #24 with the four colors being the colors of the four seasons? Don't know if that will be cool or cheesy, but I thought it might look good.
One final comment...can we try having the "Realty" portion of the logo be a little smaller, like in submission #35?
I brought back submission #8 and am rethinking this based on some of your other work. I like the two boxes in this submission...one with the logo on top of the other with the company name. Is it possible to use this concept but adapt it based on what you've done in entry #21?
You are right on what I was thinking. I really like what you did in #40. Would you mind using a font and name layout similar to #33? I like the way the "Realty" portion is pretty small relative to the other words and centered instead of spanning the full length.
Also, I like the way you've situated the tree in the window in #21 better, so that you see more of the tree. Can you adjust #40 to be more like this?
This is so much fun and really great that a small business guy has access to such great design talent like yourself! Thanks!!!
sure, I can use the proportions on #21. The only issue I see is when printed in small sizes. I don´t want the shape to get lost and become a white ball if you know what I mean. I don´t know if you can see the small "holes" in the foliage. I made those to make the tree more realistic. And those holes is what I am worried about. I´ll use a small tree but adjust the holes to make them larger, so you still peek part of the background through the holes.
Thanks for your words on my work. I´ll do my best!
I really love #51 and my sister really loves it too! (Family business...everybody's gotta be happy!) This is probably the one, but we still have some time, so I'm going to keep at it. I'm really enjoying working with you on this and so appreciate your work and turnaround.
I have a couple requests if your not done with me...
Could you make a version of #21 with the following changes...
- Change the color to the darker color (spanish moss) from #51. - Change the font to match #51
Could you make another version of #21 with the changes above but also add this...
- Add lines that define the squares of the window panes. Don't make them thick lines...just very thin so that the window panes will be defined with the white tree behind them. Does that make sense?
Very Nice!!! I really love both of your designs that are in my top 3.
Can you do a blue version of #51 that mimics the white tree in #62. Instead of the tree being the color and the sky being white, make the sky the blue color and the tree white. Everything else would be the same.
In my opinion the currently ranked 1st is more dramatic. More powerful and lets you have a bigger tree that won´t get lost in small sizes. It is a 2 color logo according to the links you provided, but could easily be done with 1 Pantone color (like the blue one, which is 1 color only in different shades).
I agree that the one ranked first is more dramatic and this is still one of my favorites.
Could you do a 1 Pantone color version using different shades of green to show me what you're talking about?
Could you also do a version of #51 using a black font? Would it make sense to switch the light and dark colors if you had a black font? I'll leave that up to you...I was just thinking the name might stand out more with a black font. What do you think?
I'm great getting feedback and it's going to be extremely tough to make a final decision. Right now, it's really between your entry #51 and entry #71. I'm getting these two consistently chosen as the top two and both entries have their pros.
I have one last request...can you do a version of #51 with no box at the bottom, but just with black font and switch the colors in the upper box so that the window is the darker color and the tree is the lighter color?
I just want to thank you for all of your work on this logo. While you were not selected, your work was clearly strong and made the choice extremely difficult. It was such a tough decision, as your logo was very professional and portrayed exactly what I asked for. There were votes on both sides, with many people choosing your design as the best. It all came down to the fact that the selected logo really captured our story in a unique way that we had not thought of.
All the best to you and once again, I really appreciate all you did here in making this logotournament experience so enjoyable and one that I will recommend HIGHLY to anyone who asks.
thanks for your message. I guess I went in the wrong direction when I moved away from my very first concept with the house in the tree. You said you didn´t want that so I tried other concepts.
