The acronym is used as the symbol. In my design the 3D symbol resembles a shield. It is professional and secure.

#14 by AlexDsgn: The shield idea in your comment is interesting (you indicate it referenced #12, but I like the idea with your #14). Perhaps around the crown looking shape (keep that) a shield shape and under the crown on the shield "PBW" with the word "Law" on the left and "Firm pllc" on the right and keeping the lines on both sides of the crown shape?

#25 by AlexDsgn: The shield used now looks more like a police badge (perhaps too much like a security company) and perhaps you can see the following link to a mideval shield type look: http://www.swordsandarmor.com/mall/shield-SH805-Charlemagne.htm. Also, instead of the word "Law" on the shield, perhaps "PBW" and Law on left and Firm on right of shield? I like the larger shield look of your #24. I like the decoration / crown looking thing on the shield of #23. You do good work.

Oh sorry about that, guess it was because of the late our that I put LAW on the shield instead of PBW. Initially I got it. I'm doing the modifications right away. Thank you very much for the feedback!

#27 by AlexDsgn: I like it very much as does my assistant. The concept of protection (shield) from legal issues is a good brand perspective. Additionally, there is the aggressive side of law, so perhaps a mideval type sword either on the shield or otherwise incorporated? What would it look like if the horizontal line extended all the way behind the shield? I really like the blue "Law" "Firm" lettering with gold shaddow and reflection (keeping "pllc" black). I don't like the shield all one color . . . perhaps the bottom and top different colors . . . I like the blue "PBW" on the gold shield for the top of the shield. I'm still a little unsure about the decoration - I like a fancy decoration, but not real sure about the current symbol since it looks like a crown and I don't want to be too stuffy. Perhaps you could incorporate with (or instead of the crown) the words "veritas atque infensus" that should be the latin for my current brand concept "honest and aggressive". I also like the tips of the shield to have an embelishment of some sort.

Update: I actually was thinking a couple months ago about a shield/sword concept but could not imagine how it would look - which is why you are here with that expertise. I'm sure this is one of many reasons I'm predisposed to your concept.

Hello. I took in all your comments and will come up with the next version a.s.a.p. I think it will turn up even better as we progress through it, given that I have some experience with law firms in the branding and visual identity field. Thank you very much for the continuous feedback.

AlexDsgn: I was about to log off and get some work done, but I thought that making the "Law" and "Firm" smaller and the "PBW" larger might emphasize my company more and less the generic "law firm" that is everywhere. Thanks and I'll check back later and no rush as I may not be able to check much this weekend.

I will give you several variations anyway, and give my advice on which would be in accordance to the laws of graphic design and corporate identity.

Hello PBW! These are my ideas on how to implement your suggestions. During the day I will submit my design with the shield with a lor more improved elements. Unfortunately I will have to leave in exctly six days time so I wont be available starting Sunday. If you consider my designs it would be eficient to give feedback and I will work around the clock to bring the design to your liking, to be able to receive the files on saturday night. Just wanted to tell you that in order to be fair and informed. Thanks a lot for your attention.

#64 #65: I like the size difference of "PBW" and "LAW FIRM" so the PBW is seen first. Interesting ideas, but my first reaction with 2 axes was beheadings instead of protection. I do like your shield shape of #21 and if you google mideval longsword it will give you an idea of its general look. I was thinking of my comments above: dividing the shield in half horizontally with a black line with the top gold (blue letters) and bottom dark blue (with gold letters); on the gold "PBW" and on the blue a symbol and / or the wording previously mentioned. The sword could be layered behind the shield but so the handle is seen below and the tip above the shield, then the shield on top of the sword with "PBW" and "veritas atque infensus" on it. The "veritas atque infensus" could be along the bottom curves of the shield with "veritas" on the left side going down, "atque" across the bottom, and "infensus" on the right side going up; and a fancy symbol (like your original crown shape) in between the words.

This would be easier if this website allowed posting of attachments so I could sketch my idea.

#68 #69: Very nice and clean looking. I prefer the blue "Law Firm" as it is stronger looking; could the words be a little closer to the shield so there is not so much negative space? Perhaps at the bottom of the shield tip a gold upside down triangle where the "bottom" flat part is just below the "atque".

The symbol . . . could you try two wedding rings intermingled? I do a lot of divorce law and the two rings could be a subtle hint at this, but also be generic enough that small business clients think it is just a cool symbol. Any other ideas you have are welcome also.

Sword: can you try a medival long sword behind the shield with the handle at the bottom and tip above?

Thanks for you good work.

Hi, could you also have them on a solid white background? Your background looks like a fade gray. Thanks.

Oh, the word "infensus" is not spelled correctly on your shield - you are missing the "n".

Here are a couple of the updates you asked for, I will submit the other during this day but I want to take them step by step so you can see each of them affecting the design and that we don't need to go back. Thank you very much for the feedback.

#88 I like it (my assistant thinks it too aggressive, but I think it looks good). Perhaps the sword handle can be more simple with the cross part more elongated, smooth, with small circles at the ends to match the bottom of the sword handle (the cross and 3 circles gold like your shield color). Then move the sword handle up under the shield so the cross part of the sword is under the gold tip of the shield and the cross part comes out from behind the shield sides (just at the bottom where the gold tip is located). The gold tip can be lowered to make it look like it wraps around the tip of the shield like an end cap (allowing a little blue shield to show between the tip and "atque" word. Perhaps the sword blade fatter/wider at the top. I like the closer "Law Firm" to the shield, that looks good. The "veritas" text looks larger in size than "atque" and "infensus" is that true or is it just my eyes? Still interested in your opinion as to the two rings instead of the crown symbol.

I like your work and you are easy to communicate with about changes. Thanks.

Thank you too. I will submit changes in a few hours and will try some things to not make it look so agressive.
