Hi,

As you can see I really like your pebble in a pond image. While the others you submitted are strong they all tend to remind me of either a construction or engineering company. I'm not sure what to say about the pond image to improve it but I would certainly enjoy seeing any modifications you could come up with, or any new design ideas.

Thanks a lot for participating.

Hi,

Your entry #37 above is intriguing to me. It's a similar idea to the one I've ranked as #1 but as I said earlier, it feels a bit too much like a construction company. It would be interesting to see other treatments. I'd be curious to see what it would look like to have three different images, one with the cube, one with a leaf, and another with something else that I can't put my finger on at the moment. It would also be interesting to see something similar to the pond ripples but with some kind of a tree. Just a thought.

hi Paul... first thanks for your comment :)
and for your rank too :)

the idea behind the design #38 is something like a wave created by a drop/pebble in a pond that you see through 3 windows... for me the design transmit savy, trustworthiness and "go beyond"

the idea behind the design #33 are 3 arrows creating something like a cube.. the different color arrow pointing up-right usually means success

the idea behind #35 #34 is like a serie of boxes creating something like a flux... and connecting the different parts...

the idea behind #36 is very interesting in my opinion... for me means that your company thinks "out of the box", the square that is going out (or coming in) is like the part that the organizations needs for the success, and for that needs your company

I'll try now to update with variations, I hope you like them... and please don't mind to ask about any change you wanted

These are all cool. I'm going to have to sit with them for a while. Hard to pick a favorite. The ripple is a bit hard to make out on the one where the image is at the left of the logo. Thanks also for your explanation on the others. From a designer perspective, what do you think of the new ones, in particular #62?

hi Paul... thanks again for your feedback....
for me from the new ones the most I like is the #63... about the #62 sincerely I think that still needs some improvements.. I'll try tomorrow morning (here +6hours)... I'll send some updates and new ideas... but please don't mind to ask about any change you wanted to see

I'd love to see any improvements to any of them that you can come up with.

I'm also curious what you think about the idea of somehow aligning the edges of the logo image and the font.

Thanks much.

Entry #115 is interesting but perhaps to edgy and too much of the primary colors.

I'm curious, of the ones currently ranked 1, 2, & 3, which do you prefer from a design standpoint? The spiral is still interesting as it seems to have more energy and could suggest moving inward towards an end goal.

hi... thanks a lot again for your feedback :)
for me the #109 transmit more wisdom and trustworthy
entry #63 #122 also transmit wisdom and is more dynamic, I tried to "rotate" the spiral to create the effect of "path" that I see you realized about :)... also the spiral like an oracle transmit the subliminal idea of "oracle"

personally I prefer the logos where the symbol is aligned with the borders of the text... making a more squared logo... but more modern... also the typeface with the two words "PAUL" and "HORTON" together but "HORTON" bolder is a modern approach that gives your company a modern touch

also the new variation #124 combines the wisdom and trustworthy with the "ball of elements", like an amalgam of ideas that hits the water and "expand" in waves

about the logo with 3 different elements in each rounded square really I did not found an elegant combination... all them in some way make the logo "complex" and messy.... I really believe in the beauty of the simplicity... actually the most famous logos and companies always choose a "simple" logo.... remember nike, fedex, google, cnn...
