There should be no splitting or font change between 'path' and 'finder' (design notes)
Design idea: to change one letter in the word 'pathfinder' to a different colour and to completely change the orientation of the text of this letter (i.e. make a graphic). Taking the letter 'a' might be an example. No specific letter has any specific meaning or prominence. pathfinder web site can be found at www.pathfinderalliance.com (may sure you include the www) - (design brief)
Design brief: main text should preferably be BLACK the pictorial element may be any colour (preferably single colour other than black) RED ORANGE PURPLE GREEN CYAN Logo will be used on white certificates, however for web site would like additional variant to be used on black background. - (design brief)
white background, black text, no font change try design element a as the 'a' in pathfinder using different colour try different design concepts for a e.g. infinity sign - or anything that works
change any letter in word pathfinder - doesnt necessarily have to be letter a
If changing a letter mid way in text doesnt work then logo element can be in front of text as you have posted
#9 question - is the text of path and font in slightly different shades of black ? If so, could you post another copy with text all in same shade as the path part.
Thanks for the alternative colours in CAPAITAL format I think that the RED will look the best in print on a certificate from these colours so I will withdraw the other colour combinations - thanks
Which do you consider the better design #3 or #6 ?
Could you provide 2 additional inputs for either #3 an/or #6, one that has 'certification' in small text below pathfinder, and one that has the text 'certification' . The wording can be in capitals or lowercase depending on what you think fits best.
#65 - thats really great - looks professional, with a strong subtle logo, its authoritative and breathes integrity When used with the word 'certification' the logo graphic seems to take a new meaning - it could be seen as a variant on the letter 'c' for certification or the letter 'a' for assessment
could you also try #20 (the purple colour) with the text 'assessment' in small text below pathfinder to get an alternative impression
A question: the text 'certification' and 'assessment' IN YOUR OPINION would this be best shown in the colour of the graphic logo OR in a grey or black?
I would like to see #65 and #66 in the same style for comparison (either grey, black or colour of graphic)
#141 & #142 - although the design with the graphic on top is very very attractive and would be very suitable as a company logo etc, for a certification mark it takes up too much room on certificates, therefore these should be removed
#143 is a little better than #65 with the darker text for certification, therefore i will replace this in the rankings
Question: Is the font/boldeness/colour of the text certification and assessment the same in #143 & #145 or is it just a play on the eyes that #145 looks darker than #143 ?
In case i choose the #161 design (now you put it forward) can you provide one more alternate:- #161 in purple and sub-line text 'assessment (same colour as #165)
#174 & #175 I believe after all these inputs is the coolest most professional, most distictive and most worthy of the designs for a certification mark. Meets all the original design criteria and all objectives
SO again MAY I ASK FOR the 'purple' versions with 'assessment' sub-line
PATHFINDER is a scheme for assessment and certification. Didnt decide yet which wording to use
