Our Ideas & Additional Information
My favorite logo out there is probably the Apple logo. It's so obvious and simple, but communicates everything you need to know. It's also memorable and speaks the company name.

With that in mind, the logo may need to have a modern tech expression to it so that it properly communicates that I am running a 3D printing/design tech company. Future of automotive, etc etc.

Think app, or executable.

"Elegance in simplicity" pertaining to engineers, which means function. Examples: slingshot, boomerang , etc

Shipping box, 3D printer, some play on part and parcel, or a combination thereof without being too busy.

Across the board I'm not liking the complete grey scale. Unless you're confident it's awesomesauce, avoid complete grey or grey/white.

Also, the designer who threw up a red colored logo did catch my eye. Feel free to try some accents with colors, but not too wild.

My favorites so far have had unique pictorial marks or letterform marks which either communicate my company name and style, or what we do. Should be memorable without being outlandish or wild.

End of day one update to designers: top 16 ranks just got a positive remark from the crankiest, most nit picky quality control engineer I know. He's indicative of the target audience in general, so you're on the right track.

Prize increased. Focus on a unique pictorial that communicates 3D printing, shipping of products, design, modern, tech, style. Company name or initials could be used but not as important from results I've seen so far. Thanks.

Feedback disclaimer: I think I'm on a much different time zone than several of you, as I get several submissions every night while asleep. I'll get to feedback and rankings as soon as I can. Eastern standard time, USA

Less abstract, more commonplace. Go that route.
