To be honest, I can't find any sound reason to put an apple there. To say blatantly, it has nothing to do with parts and somehow it looks childish. Sorry
I see that there are already other entries with the apple. We are not allowed to copy the others ideas - unless usage of the apple was literally your idea and you plainly suggested it to the others as well.
Was discussing the Apple logo with a business associate. Part of the consideration was that an apple is in every home, and you feel at ease with the symbol.
While my product won't be in households (yet), it does need to be in every manufacturing facility.
That's where my brain is right now. The box and parts, part and parcel to their operation.
The style on it brings me back to it and catches my eye repeatedly. The only thing missing is 3D printing. I don't know how to suggest/describe a way to combine the 3D printing element of the 3D cube you made plus this idea.... Thanks.
This is awesome. This feels like it's either it, or darn close. I'll need to think on it and get reviews from others if it needs anything to communicate 3D printing more specifically (like the glare at the bottom point).
Also when/if at tweaking stage, try instead of 3D or PP, something else inside that might communicate my business or 3D printing. Or something unique. I've seen "cogs" to communicate the "part" in the name. Might try that or something else. I think the cube being 3D communicates that portion of it, making "3D" in the face redundant.
Try a glare, or a shine or something at the bottom point of the Cube. Google a 3d printer in operation, extruding filament from the nozzle. I'm getting this vibe from the cube here that the bottom point could give a subtle impression of a nozzle printing out the company name.
Color combination looks good. You're doing good with adding accents. There's something about it that is just ho hum, even though I like it a lot. It's not "the one."
Looking good. Some points: 1) there's a curvature reflection or something behind the "3D" - take that out. 2) Shadowing is a great touch. 3) I can't figure out yet, but there's something at face value I don't like about the 3D block, even though it does interest me quite a bit. Try "PP" ? You're on the right track with creating a good pictorial mark.
