Weddings by ParisLogo Design Contest

Hi Designers & Welcome to my Contest!

This will be the first time I've logo'd my biz, in the current drive to re-brand my company and what I do. You'll note at the top that I have two slogans; feel free to give input on which you like better or which might work better within a given design.

This appears to be a great community and the stuff I've seen that you've created looks absolutely terrific;I'm really looking forward to seeing your designs! Please PM me if you have anything you'd like to comment on or share.

Also, I may have a tabletop or floor-standing trade-show type of display, or maybe a rectangular floor-standing banner made at some point, so I guess the logo should reproduce well after it's enlarged.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

For all designers:

Thank you all for your entries so far; theire is certainly a lot of talent here!

Just a note to all on these points to remember:
Please include a tagline in the logo.
Please include the Eiffel Tower in the logo.
I'd like to see how the tower could be "dressed up", so to speak--like maybe accented with lights, since the city of Paris, France is known as "The City of Light".

Also, I did change my tagline(s) in my contest brief to either one of two: "A Fun Name For Fun & Classy Reception Entertainment" or "Fun & Classy Reception Entertainment". Use either one as you see fit.

Update for all designers:

I've gotten input from some of my colleagues that my business name might fare better as "Weddings by Paris" rather than "Paris Weddings", so future entries please use "Weddings by Paris" along with the tagline. Thank you!

I do like entries #5 and #3 from acongkecil, especially the concept of #3, which is why I moved them up in the rankings. I'm just waiting to hear back from acongkecil on my last comments and revision request.

You are all doing great work and I have a feeling this is going to be a very tough decision.

according to the information we get from admin ,acongkecil currently in a state of "disabled account or banned designer" yesterday, because the accumulation of violations point.

I have a question that I posted in the forums, under General discussion: if you stop hearing from a designer to whom you've given input and asked for revisions, but their concept is unique to all others you've received so far, can you ask the remaining participating designers to use that concept?

To all designers:

Just a reminder that ALL concepts are welcome, not just the ones I mentioned in the brief(the Eiffel Tower, the wedding ring, or rings).

The main thing I'm looking for is a logo that says class and style with a bit of fun tossed in!

Also, mine is a creative business in that I work with my clients to help them create wedding reception entertainment that is unlike any that they or thier guests have ever seen, so the logo design should also say that Weddings by Paris is creative.

Thanks for your updates. Did you see my note in my 9am post about rounding or changing the square bump(which I guess is the observation deck of the real Eiffel Tower) at the top of your tower illustration?

For #272, I like the "Weddings By" font you used there as opposed to #276, with one change: change the word "BY' to both lower case letters. Please apply that to #271 as well.

I really like this design concept and have gotten great input on this from several associates.
