I really like this design--I think it has the clean, classy look I want but is yet distinctively different. Can we change the tagline to "A Fun Name for Fun & Classy Reception Entertainment"
Maybe something a little more "showy" or thicker letters with the font in my name.
Also, can the tower be "lit" up, or dressed up more, like with little lights all over it?
And, can we make the solid blue box some type of other design, again like lights, sparkles, or a wave? I keep mentioning the "lights" because Paris is called "The City of Lights".
Thank you Ponetz, this one(#18) looks nice; I think it definitely has a fun flair to it! But I think the font does look better thinner.......same for #17 & #15, thinner font. I think I like #15 the best followed by #18 then #12.
I'm getting some feedback from my invited friends that my name should perhaps say "Weddings by Paris" and then the tagline. Can you work something up like that, with a strong similarity to #15 & #18?
#27 is my new fave, nice work!!! I like it not only becasue of the business name, but also the tagline is brighter than #26 and I like the lights or starbursts around the top of the tower. I think I like #25 next, just because the simplicity of it is similar to #26, but the white looks better to me, which I can't really explain why.
Ponetz, can you work up a #25 with the starbursts like #27?
Ponetz, the more I look at entry #27, I'm thinking I'm not fan of the lighted tower effect, it seems to make it look a little blurry. Is there anohter way to achieve a lit up Eiffel Tower? If not, then maybe just sharpen up the tower in that image.
I really do like #36 because I think the starbursts say "Fun", but it might be a little too busy with the different fonts and the rings in the word "Weddings"
Thank you Ponetz, it's obvious you enjoy your work, as we all should! This is how life was meant to be:)
I love my work also, being able to create not only a fun wedding reception for my clients, but one that is meaningful as well. This is my full-time livelihood, and I've never ben happier working or a living.
Oh yes, and about #40: I personally like the colors, but am still afraid it might be considered too busy. I will let you know what input I get from others.
Glad to hear that Sir Paris! Speaking of wedding, I just got married last December 2009, we went wacky instead of solemn, I wore chucks instead of formal shoes, even my bride wore chucks instead of high heels. During the reception our entrance song was Enter Sandman by Metallica. We have a music video but I don't think we are allowed to post links in here.
For entry #40, can you do the tower in gold also, but keeping it a lighter shade at the top, so the rings will show through? And, can you change the tagline to "Fun & Classy Reception Entertainment" and make the tagline a littler larger, or easier to see from a distance?
Also, are you ok with me moving some of your other designs into the not interested bin? Just to remove some clutter, as these entries are beginning to build.
I've been getting some feedback from my associates about dropping the Eiffel Tower completely; can you make the tower in #55 just be the letter A, although just slightly bigger than the other letters, to suggest a resemblance to the Eiffel Tower? Please keep the wedding rings and the colors there.
I still like #55, it's one of my favorites. Thank you for #97 & #98, but the colors are a little too loud for me, and I'm not a fan of the font. Also, I think the tagline will need to run across the entire bottom of the name.
Maybe we could try two thigns with #55: no rings around the tower(the fireworks are ok),or maybe a different font for the letters.
I tihnk I prefer the black........also not a fan of the font in 119 or 120. 119 might work with a different font; I've also been thinking about not using the tower.........
I guess I'm leaning more towards a more classic or classy look(I don't know how to describe it), although I still like several of the early entries you submitted.
In any case, the letter "A" would have to have the bar across of it. Of 152 to 158, I like 152 the best, mainly because of the color.
Thank you again for your continued hard work! As you can probably tell, I'm leaning towards Trinova; I am still a big fan of your #55 & #31, especially #31 because I think it has kind of a Wedding Channel look to it--clean, modern and white and would be appealing to a modern bride.
I'm running out of new ideas or input to give, this contest has my head spinning!! I've also relied on input from not only my business associates in the same line of work as me, but also those other vendors within the industry as well, like caterers, jewelers, photographers and event planners.
All the best for your new logo Sir Paris! Just a heads up. if you want a particular designer to modify its entry, just move him to rank 1st and that designer can upload files even if its in Judging Mode. Cheers!
