Nice first attempt. It's kind of fun and might get people to notice and be involved in the organization. I do think the logo is a bit informal though.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

- Rank designs daily - this will encourage participation.
- Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
- Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
- Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
- The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
- Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
- Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
- Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
- Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

The deeper greens and blues work better. The organization is an advocacy group, so the logos should be a bit stronger. Also, think a bit more urban as the walks are not beach walks but rather walking within a more urban tropical area to shop, dine and do errands. The logo with the big foot is fun, but this misses the mark a bit as the "ladies and gents" would probably be walking in shoes and loafers (not bare feet or sandals!). Keep 'em coming!

Entry #4 with the "seal" is still interesting, but it appears a bit generic. Perhaps a more stylized formal font. There are no lighthouses on the island! The logo should say that the organization is strong and determined to get things done. Not just promote walking with tours etc, but show to town officials that the group is important. Also incorporating a bike could work. Even if it just a subtle reference.

The circle logo (#4) could be interesting if it was a bit more stately/official.
