I’d like to provide more detailed feedback on the general look and feel I’m after because what I’m seeing so far is more ‘businessy’ than I’m after. The current designs feel a bit impersonal and corporate at the moment.
I’m not wanting to look like a ‘packaging company’ but a company who understands the emotional connection of my customers to their products. My products are designed to show off their work.
I’d like a more feminine, casual, inviting style? Although it’s packaging I sell, my customers have a strong emotional connection to what they’re putting inside the bags. In most cases they handcrafted or handmade the items. Imagine the time and love involved in making soap or jewellery or cards or drawings and then putting them into a bag that makes them look like a million dollars!
Can you take a look at the submissions for NWA Boutique Show.
https://logotournament.com/contests/nwa_boutique_showImmediately these logos connected with me. They say life and creativity to me. These are more feminine and ‘crafty’. I don’t want female silhouettes nor do I want a shopping bag. But by feminine I’m referring to the fonts, the feel, the colours.
I’m drawn to entry no. 36 of that contest
https://logotournament.com/contests/nwa_boutique_show/by/rachelstene. It makes me feel that excitement and life is contained in the bag with all the movement. Obviously my bags are clear and flat but what I’m trying to convey to my customer is that your stuff that you so lovingly made will look awesome in these bags.
Below is a link to the actual product (clear bags) if that helps.

Most of my customers return time and time again so I know them by name now.
I’ll give more feedback as new designs come through because I know you’ll need more specific instructions from me as we go. I’m going to extend the deadline for submissions and look forward to seeing your interpretation.
