What We Do
Pacific Drain is a local San Diego based service company that clears stopped up drains and sewers (think roto-rooter).
Industry
Service Industries
Color Preferences
Blue-"Pacific" was originally chosen simply because we're in San Diego/Pacific Ocean and water is generally depicted as blue.
Red highlights have been used in our past logo, the "P" was enclosed in red, the 2 dots over the i's were red.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I just had an idea I'd like to see......try making the "P" on a plunger with the plunger cup as the base. I'm not married to this idea but would like to see how it looks. Pacific Drain is a stand alone division of Arrow Pipeline (www.arrowpipeline.com). If Pacific Darin could cleverly be tied to our Arrow logo it might be interesting but certainly not mandatory. Don't get hung up on this idea.
Company is commonly called Pacific Drain or Pac Drain seldom Pacific Drain Service. I'd like to concentrate on the Pacific Drain knowing I can always add the word Service depending on the media.
Largest visibility will be graphics on side of white trucks. Company has 10-12 trucks on the road.
Our tag line is "We're number 1 at number 2".
Family owned and run since 1975.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

guys,

1. keep it one line

2. try a clever way to incorporate an attractive plunger with wooden handle as the letter P. i'm thinking this could work if done well.

3. simple is better

4. blue lettering with red highlights, perhaps red plunger cup with red dots over each letter I?
