Energy! Aggressiveness! Bold! With a "high end service" look.

Hey everyone, alot of these are looking a little "cartoony". Keep in mind that this is a high-end mechanics shop. Some of the flames might be doing it.

So far, I'm liking the solutions with gauges more than the flames. I'd love to see some gas gauges. An odometer could possibly work. Our client said that their customers drive 200,000 miles per year. If their gas mileage increases by just a couple percent, it can be a huge money savings. The Diesel Performance" is more about getting better gas mileage than an increase in horsepower. They do have some customers that are into 4-Wheel-Drives, so we can still retain some of the testosterone feeling. The flames are looking a little more like a racing team to me.

A tasty use of some wrenches, a hint of a highway stripe, an "interstate" sign-shape could be some inspiration. A silhouette of the shape of the U.S.? They are located in Indiana, if you wanted to put some kind of star or dot to symbolize their location. Their largest customer-group is drivers of diesel pickup trucks that haul cars, RVs, Trailers, etc, on trailers. They haul them all across the U.S.

I've narrowed down the choices to the 16 best. Between me, and our client, we will pick our winner from these. If you still would like to tweak any of your designs, there are still a few hours.
