Color Preferences
Grey and white combo as used by Apple are a thought as we are branding ourselves as the apple of the renewables industry. Colours need to be very modern and yet very clean, simple and focussed. So perhaps a logo that can be white on grey and reversible to grey on white as Apple do.
Sometimes apple also use black on a white background, and white on black.

As we are talking about green renewable energy, tri-colours that indicate the use of both solar, wind and wave power could be used to show the three main technologies we can work with.

Both Blue, Purple and Green are all colours that could also be used. I would like a White background or a Grey background. The logo will need to be very modern and the colours need to enable the logo "Pop" out.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
As already stated in my comments on possible colours. I see this as being very much based upon the cleanness and simplicity of the Apple logo. Minimal colours being used with the use of the company name and then an image as Apple use. The Logo should be interchangeable and pop on white, grey or black backgrounds. The image can be to the left of the company name or above the company name.

One idea could be to use the three technologies of solar, wind and water to provide a tri-colour image/motiff for the logo to go along side the company name. Or integrate these three colours in the company name in some way. Although, I feel keeping one colour for the company name might work better, but this can be played with.

Another idea is to just use the company name "Orenko" and use one or some of the letters of the name to create an image like using the "O" at the front of the word to turn it in to an image or to use the tri-colour idea I just mentioned in some way as part of this.
