Color Preferences
We would like a greenish color that is like the copper patina found on the Statue of Liberty, since our logo is based on the same statue, and our new website has a similar color scheme.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We have a large, framed bronze sculpture in our lobby that we would like to tie into our new logo. The sculpture is an abstract of the Statue of Liberty. We do not want to copy the design, but rather make it "tie in" visually, so that when a customer finds us via our website, they will see the logo, then come to our office and see the relationship with the sculpture. The logo can be either the torch component or the Liberty part of the sculpture, or some sort of combination of both. We would also like our name associated with the logo, in abbreviated form. We are Orange County Rare Coin & Bullion, LLC, but that can be abbreviated as any of the following: OCRC, OCRC & B, OCRC&B, OC Rare Coin (preferred), OC Rare Coin & Bullion. The picture of the website is just our basic concept layout. We do not have any type of font picked for the actual company name.

Reminder that there are four images in the Contest Brief. One shows the basic preliminary layout of the new website, and the others are of a sculpture in our lobby. We would like to tie in some aspect of the sculpture into the logo, although that is not a requirement. Thank you for the entries so far!

Hello numisma and welcome to LT.

There is concern over the artwork images you've, though it clear you do not own the actual building artwork, but did you in fact take the photos, if you did take the photos then you do own the copyright to those photo but not the artwork.

Could you take a moment to clarify, thank you

Hello Scott and Issues. I apologize for the confusion. I am new at this. I did in fact take the photographs attached to the contest brief. We also own the sculpture, which hangs in our office lobby. Since people like it, we thought it would be interesting to incorporate aspects of the design into our new logo.

Is there a way that I can modify the contest brief to reflect that I did take the photographs and that I own the copyright to the photos?

Thanks, Dennis

It looks like my colleagues are leaning toward the linear style of logo, as opposed to round version. The reason being that it would facilitate better use in print and web applications. The green color in #1 through #6 is the right tone. Thanks to all who have contributed.
