No real color scheme pre-determined, whatever Fireworks and the Olympus concept bring to your imagination.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We chose Olympus in our name for Greek references of power, but I don't necessarily want all direction to be focused on this as Fireworks is our business. There are so many ways to go with this that I hope some creative genius will appear and give us direction.

The difficulty with this project is that we have a Greek type name/theme, but we also need to be recognized as a fireworks company. There are so many things we like so far but and want to offer direction but don't want to discourage new and inspiring ideas. I'm excited to see how things evolve, thank you again for your efforts.

As this contest evolves, we are realizing that the fireworks theme needs to be an important part of the message.

Dear CH,

This post was used on a different competition to highlight some rules of the LT (previously posted by Dazzle - Moderator for LT)

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

Best Regards,

Kareem "

We are grateful for the many designers who have given so much time and effort to help us come up with our company logo. I will follow the advise of Kareem and make sure that each spot is filled with a different person so appreciation can be show.

I hope this isn't going to be seen as a negative, but I am choosing to extend the contest by 2 days (the minimum amount allowed. I am doing so because I am travelling all day today and won't be able to see the final entries and want to be involved all the way to the end in making comments and decisisons. Again, I apologize.

Thank you,

Theron

I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, home of Mt Olympus. I have since moved to the State of Utah, home of yet another Mt Olympus. As far as I know, these are the only two Mt Olympus peaks in the USA, one where I grew up and one where I currently live. Thus the name. Since we opted for the name, we might as well follow the Greek theme. There are many powerful directions to go with the Greek theme.

Wish that I had time to enter this contest (alas).

I was hoping to try a design using "Icarus" who flew into the sky and then fell in a burst of flame (kind of a neat analogy for this product). Maybe someone else could try this. If the contest just had a few more days I would have tried a concept with Icarus.
