Ohio CATLogo Design Contest

Hello.

Do you have rights to use CAT logo and do you want it as part of the logo? like you have now on your webiste?

Randi-

We cannot use the CAT logo by itself. The logo that you see on our website (Ohio CAT) does belong to us, but we have strict brand identity requirements that we must adhere to with CAT. We would like to have a Product Support focused logo that stands by itself and encompasses the traits that were outlined. Hope that this gives you a clearer direction.

Designers:

We are looking for a logo to highlight our product support (service) capability. Ultimately, we seek to convey to our customers that we will keep their CAT equipment maintained and running like a new machine. We need to communicate a sense of trust and assurance that the experience in getting their machine serviced or repaired will be taken care of in a timely, efficient, manner.

Potential ideas might show an arm with a wrench grasped or something along those lines. Please put your creative thinking caps on and keep the submissions coming. We appreciate the efforts.

Designers:

We already have a corporate logo that can be seen on our website (www.ohiocat.com). We don't want to have our proposed Product Support logo with our company name in it as it may create confusion and dilute our main logo. Ideally, the new logo would be visual and focus on the Product Support/Service Excellence theme without mentioning the name "Ohio CAT". Please review the attached jpeg that I included. This is pretty close to our thought, but with the company logo (Michigan CAT) deleted. Thanks for all of your efforts and we're excited to see the output.
