Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are looking for something iconic, recognizable, professional and approachable. Elements of the design to also be incorporated into the (sidewalls) of our packaging so that when our 50lb bags are stacked in a warehouse the brand is still recognizable.
* Please note that the logo will be printed on a Brown Paper bag. Please see attached photo for color reference.
Our direction on this would be to represent agriculture with imagery of stalks of oats, crops, rays of sunshine, a person working in the crops, etc… Our producers are in Saskatchewan, Canada, so it would be nice to have a Canadian Maple Leaf incorporated into the imagery or even have the whole agricultural scene inside the maple leaf. Just an idea.
Our overall aesthetic should be soft and approachable, so think curvy organic lines.
We don't mind greens and blues but we’d prefer the logo to have warmer tones and some hints of gold to represent our oat product. It would be nice to have a multi-colored logo but please no more than five colors and stay away from gradients.
Our product will be sent to many different countries, so we will need the text “Oat Gold” to be legible, so please no script, cursive, and any hard to read fonts. A modern San Serif or Serif font will do.
We are open to new ideas that represent oats, so don’t feel limited by the suggestions above.
