What We Do
Northwest Media Management is a broker of great ideas, media buys, media plans, production, creative strategy and advertising strategy with one contact, one invoice, and one plan with money saved for the client.
Industry
Media
Color Preferences
Different shades of blue preferred . Open to other colors, except red. (See additional info for more details on colors.)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
-- Have "Northwest Media Management" fully spelled out.
-- Strong emphasis on the word "Media"
-- Prefer to see the words stacked vertically. Though we are open to seeing other creative ways to lay out the words.
-- We are looking for a Wordmark type of logo.
-- Separate symbol possibly but not at the expense of the Wordmark logo
-- Different shades of blue is what we are looking for, but are open to other "US northwest colors" without being too "outdoors" like. We are not an outdoor company so don't want the typical outdoor mountain, trees, natural objects.
-- We are interested in possibly a 3D look as it has a tendency to come out and grab you.
-- Something strong with energy, powerful, masculine, like a fighter, bold, that says "we’re going to fight for the client, save them money & time and be an advocate for them in the wild and overwhelming world of media."
-- Not at all passive or flowing.
-- We’re not a graphics only firm. We are an agent for advertisers. Maybe like a sports agent feel or a sports team. Athletic, Energetic, Fighter. (Though no sports ball or the likes.)

Thanks to all for the different ideas. This is good start. I'll keep the comments coming. Check my original notes carefully all. I thought about them a lot. We want to powerfully impact my customers and future prospects that are looking for a media management company (advertising broker) that can find himself a great logo:) Media is most important. #2 looks like a press pass, which is cool...it gives the VIP Access to the big event. That's what we do for our clients too. Access to the big ad events (best ad buys) for their budgets! I predominantly like shades of blue. Rich Blue is very Northwest. Its a way of emphasizing Northwest with color while keeping the MAIN emphasis on MEDIA. (Seahawks and Mariners are mostly blue and grey and white).

In general, I prefer to see the logos over white or whitish. Again, 3D and shadow are good too.

Good attempt on #17 for a bold symbol. Again, I really like the font on #2 #24 an #25 (not sure about the differences except for the italic). However, I would like to have the symbol be non-letter and 3D. No more N's NW' or the like. I like the metallic effect on #16 and #18. I'm very open to other ideas for a unique 3D symbol. #22 and #23 are very good attempts at symbols that are not based on letters.

I moved #18 up just recently because it exudes such a strong corporate image. We are a strong advocate for our clients.

#36 WongTeal nailed something nice here with the symbol. It would be nice to see if it worked with a little more depth.

I don't think the condensed font works (in #36, still). It looks like its the condensed version of the font used in #18 whose type we like the best now.

#34 has a nice layout to the type. Sometimes, clients shorten our name to Northwest Media, but we want to keep the management, but having it smaller looks good.

Thank you all for working so hard on this! Much gratitude for your efforts!!!

In the spirit of full disclosure, I feel its important to note that #10, #11 and #12 were pulled because of the striking resemblance to the Northwest Airlines logo - http://nwa.com Otherwise, they were bringing in some good layout ideas, and I'm sure that being lumped in with whoever made the nwa logo is a good place to be.

I like the new symbol indea on #61 very much. #50 is looking very good. I'm was not expecting the green and would like to see #50 with a different color to compare. Very curious.

The stacked lettering where the media is prominant seems to be rising to the top for the most part.

I'm really liking #50, #64, #70 and #34 and #18. They are unique, bold and mostly 3D. #70 could be more bold and 3D. I tend to like the stacked text but the font on #34 is very strong. The 3D is better on #50 and #64. The logo on #70 is unique. I would like to see some more unique symbol's that "symbolize" the name. #70 does that because it looks like a sattelite. It also looks rich like BMW. I really like the metallic look of #18.

Love #83 logo and texture and shine and layout a lot. Love #50 symbol as well as the mirror 3D effect.

That symbol on #88 and #89 is awesome! Deep 3D with an N included! The logo on #86 still has the most powerful punch! The symbol and layout on #50 has the best balance and is very clever!

#92 just came in with a super 3D symbol look! I asked zie to try something like this with NW (for NorthWest) and/or NM (for Northwest Media), NWM or NWMM would be fine too. Often our company is abreviated as NWMM or NW Media or NW Media Management, though I always want the logo to be spelled out as you see the finalist are now.

Symbols that "symbolize" Media Management would be great too (Northwest does not need to be symbolized because Northwest is less relevant to our business).

Please read carefully. I’d like to see the symbol on #98 on top of the logo of #98 with the shadow. #98 is a more clever symbol though. The logo on #87 is very good and has lots of punch. The symbol on #97 might be too shiny. Perhaps a stronger symbol above #97 would be good. Something new. I’d like to see the symbol on #88 sweetened and above #97 logo. I’d like to see the symbol on #98 above the logo on #86. I’d like to see the symbol above #50 above #86 and above #97. I’d also like to see the symbol above #88, above #86 and shined up. I’d like to see the symbol above #88 show an M for media. If I could only choose one letter to symbolize, it would be M and not N. NW would be my choice if I had two letters. NWMM would be my choice if I could have 4 but that would be too much. I still like non letter symbols if I can find the right one. I still like the 3D effect on #1

OK. More symbol ideas please. No more letter symbol please. Symbols that are non-letter but original.
Thanks all. Some possible ideas: Spotlights, Sattelite dishes, Two spotlights shining down. Anything "media".
