Thanks so much for the comment. As you could probably tell I was trying to convey a construction worker in a tunnel, but I will change the image to show a dozer or backhoe and the submit the new concept.
Hope you like #25. Just finished it. I like it but let me know if there's anything else you want. Also is it obvious enough that the Backhoe is in a tunnel?
Perfect. The only other suggestion I would like to add is the tunnel background. It's a cool idea and makes for a really clean-looking logo, but we actually don't do any work in tunnels. We work outside under the sun, which might be something you could incorporate. Or maybe try coming up with another idea for the background.
Another quick thing that would be interesting to play around with would be a more squared/ boxy type. I really like the current font, but I'm wondering what some different more squared fonts would like like.
Here you go. I've got #34 done. this one shows the changes you wanted, new font and I've made the backhoe shown in the day time atmosphere. The blue in the sky is a natural compliment to the orange. But if you're not sure about another color being added, I'll change it. Let me know what you think.
#34 is getting right on track. The font is still not quite right. It seems kind of cowboy/western looking. Maybe more a san serif font. Love the blue sky background and it does look great with the orange. Only thing is that it looks like the backhoe has windows because of the black. All our backhoes are all open - could you maybe try putting the blue sky through the windows to see if it will make more like an open window backhoe? Also, any chance of also seeing this same logo with a white background in addition to the black? We would want to have it on white and black t-shirts and wondering if it will look good on the white too.
Very cool.. I understand what you're after and I've updated #39 and #40. I think that's more of what you're after. Let me know if there is anything else and I'll be glad to make changes.
Great! #40 will work on the white. Let's work a little more with the font. I like the font but it needs to be a little more thick like your #16. Also try making the GENERAL ENGINEERING a little smaller and then add an underline or possibly using the GENERAL ENGINEERING font you used in #34 it might go good with the new font.
