Let's try some color variations. The text is a bit hard to read when it's small. If this were embroidered on a polo shirt, the text needs to be legible.
Can we try fewer and larger gear teeth on #138. Might make them more visible from a distance. And perhaps the font from #131 with tactical a bit larger.
Ok, I prefer the text layout of 144. Tactical isn't quite readable enough. 152 and 153 look cool but the colors are too purple. 135 is also a nice design but the white and green colors don't work. That blue is nice though.
Tighter. Start with #138 and reduce the number of teeth. And #173 is good but the white/grey top needs more contrast against the white background. It would probably be fine on black. Also, let's keep the text as a solid color.
Hi sorry for delayed response possibly I'm sleeping when your online :( but anyway I can update any entry you want me too if you can re-rank any of my entry into 1st place temporarily then I'll be able to submit because the contest is in judging phase already. Thanks for your support message me here for any changes you want.
Okay, I'm liking the 193-196 series a lot. I have a few questions. First, is this all done in Illustrator? If so, great. I'm eventually going to need to convert it to line art. Maybe submit a version that's just line art. Beyond that, I'd like to see the straight jet elements from each gear about 50% longer. Lastly, the colors need some work. The red is too orange. I think the dark blue is too dark for a black background. The goal is to get a color that will work in light or dark background.
Yes 100% Adobe Illustrator CS5 I can convert it in CorelDraw X6 version also :) I'll get some updates with the colors to be balance in a bit for the background & the requested adjustment in a while. Thanks!
Okay, I'll ultimately need the file in Illustrator (including all layers). That dark blue still needs work. It's just not showing up well on a black background. And please use solid background colors. Remember that one important use of this is embroidered on a black polo shirt. And the word 'tactical' needs to be readable. Try using the cyan color for this. Also, as you are working, try viewing the artwork as if it were less than 3 inches wide and seen from about 5 feet away.
One more comment. Looking at #177, the straight line burst elements have a nice length in proportion to the circle elements. Can you increase the length in the more recent revision?
Good day, thanks for the continued support & guide updates are as follows: #216 - #217: Cyan full solid color icon #214 - #215: Darker shade of Cyan full solid icon #212 - #213: Darker Cyan applied for tri-color icon #210 - #211: Gradient applied Cyan + Darker shade + tri-color combination #208 - #209: Replaced Green as an option solid color
I adjusted the size related to #177 as the original length the size was more bigger expected during the last revision. The image shown of the logo only is a representation of the logo nothing less with regards to the size of viewing of the original artwork will depend on the application of the logo in various output if desired size is needed it is fully adjustable (editable) to the scale for the medium. Hopes this helps thanks again.
