Newfangled MusicLogo Design Contest

Newfangled Music is the music industry concierge, suppling all your artistic needs from booking bands, musicians, entertainers, professional hosts & speakers for parties, weddings, charities and specialty events. We also offer recording studio services, production, music publishing, songwriting, talent management, and artist marketing services.

We won't use a video background in the top header area, but since the site focuses heavily on yellow, we want a logo palette that goes well with this. We don't have to use yellow - we could do a complimentary color, such as blue or purple - or even something like platinum. The site is very loud and the logo will need to be noticeable to prevent it from being overlooked.

The term newfangled means 'different from what one is used to'. This opens the door to do something new or interesting. We like the concept of making the logo modern and contemporary - that's important. We don't want to appear like an old fashioned / classic business.

It would be nice to introduce some element of music into the logo - such as music notes or instruments - but doing it in a way that looks upscale, elegant and contemporary. We could use the term newfangled to make a twist on the icon - such as a backward music note - or something interesting with a microphone. We are definitely open to suggestions.
