One of my colleagues also likes #11: "Not quite sure why this appeals to a degree. The image does not have any real relationship to the business, but has some degree of uniqueness - it stands out. Colors are good. "
#12 has got some great potential. You have nicely emphasized the word "NewBack, and de-emphasized the word "Therapy". Can you integrate a spine somehow in the "B" of Newback? or perhaps along its lower border?
#11 is very elegant. I worry, though, that some people would see this as too much of a flower image, or too much as a swirling dancer that would scare off people who have back pain and cannot move very well.
Thank you for your newest submissions. I think the challenge is to give a sense of a spine without it looking like peas in a pod! It might seem odd, but I wonder if you place the work "new" over top of the word "back", then you could use these two letters to make a really long spine....?
I like the smooth, subtle spine, but one of my colleagues thinks it is too subtle, and like a lot of other swooshes out in the marketplace. Perhaps you can make it a little less subtle? Overall, several of your designs have been impressive to several others who have had a chance to comment.
Another thought: Although our company is called "NewBack Therapy, Inc.", alot of what we do is more training than therapy--it is more active involvement of our clients, than a passive therapy. Could you try an updated logo using the word "training" instead of "therapy"?
I really like #144 but the only thing that bugs me is the head seems to be floating. I really like how it is integrated with the "W" and the back icon, but wonder if something can be done to not make it stand out so much.
Perhaps you could add some taglines to your designs as well. For example, including the tagline: Conquer Pain - Restore Function - Perform Better and another version with; Yoga Based Back Therapy and another version with: Health Back: Healthy Body
We most like #143. The colours aren't right as I prefer the #77 colours, but I like how the word "NewBack" itself is the logo with the back symbol integrated into the W.
Yes, please remove the gradient.... it make it easier to print the logo without gradations, although, at the end of all of this it would be nice to have both forms, one for online use, and one for hard copy on paper, etc.
Congratulations! We have selected your designs to run with.
The font choices, the use of colours, balancing greens/blues and gray in the "Active Therapy" part looks great--clean and professional.
My partners were still hoping for some other possible variations on how you are representing a back, since some of your designs look more like peas in a pod. Can you try some other variations for this? We can send you some ideas of spines and backs if you like.
