#2 - I'm not sure about the balloon effect.

#2 is good. Can you get a metallic style too?

#4 is good. Can you get NVM into the square instead of just the V?

#5 and #6 - I don't think the NVM in the box worked. Maybe try a font and style that is a bit more sophisticated and a little less 'metallica'.

#4 - I still like this one. What about using the font you are using for the "V" in #4 or #3 to get NVM in the box?
#8 - Nice logo. The font is a little to severe?

More color.

Logo #19: I would like to see a version where the N and the M of the logo have the same slant (or no slant) on the outside and the V is in a square white box.

Logo #28 : I like the approach but I would like to see a version with no arms on the V, the executive in a different color (or different shade of blue), with the lettering closer to the style of #19 and with proper spelling [New Venture Management]

I'd like to ask for a version of #24 and #25 where the "N" in the circle is either rotated a little anti-clock-wise or re-drawn so that the first peak of the "N" is lower than the tail of the "N" (ie so that it looks more like a chart that shows growth - as opposed to a chart that looks like a recession!).

It would also be good to see a design that a) uses a combination of the letters N & V in the circle (that may be what you are getting at with the current #24 and #25 - but may be able to make it more stylized) and b) only uses the letter "V" in the circle (rather than N)

Based on the logos that have been submitted, we've decided on the following new guidelines:
- No complex logo
- Keep it simple
- Clean fonts
- The logo should focus on the V or the NV of New Venture Management (no more NVM)
- The focus should be on New Venture and not Management
- If the letter V is used in the logo and is asymmetrical, we'd like the right side of the V to be bigger to illustrate growth. Also, it would be OK the V gave the illusion of a check mark in a box, but we want it to be an obvious V

#43 We would like to see a similar design with a black V, a dark blue circle and not notches on the circle

Orange is an interesting option so we'd like to see a few more designs in both blue and orange

#38, #42, & #44 - We'd like to see the same designs with the V looking more like a V but we like the shorter left side

#34 - We'd like to see it with the boundary between the dark and light blues reversed to look like a horizon line on the earth

#30 and #31 - could you extend the V to come out of the circle?

#40 - We put it back in the list of designs that are ranked. We wonder what it would look like if the left leg of the N had less angle and was more parallel to the right leg of the V!

#57 - Interesting approach for the logo! Can you submit a few versions of it where it's more obvious that the right leg of the V is supposed to be the line from a graph with an uptrend. Maybe also add a circle or square behind it.

#63, #65, #67 - We like it but the light gray doesn't provide enough contrast on the blue background

#62 - We'd like to see the same design with the two sides of the V coming to the circle

#52 & #61 - Can you submit a design where the opening of the V is half way between these two but where the right side comes out a bit more?

#74 - How about a little more contrast between the blues and getting the part of the graph that makes the V a bit more symmetrical so it is a bit more obvious? Maybe also one with a discrete arrow at the top of the graph.

#59 & #60 - Can you close the V a bit more so it doesn't look so much like a check but still has a sense of it?

#55 - Interesting approach - We'd like to see a less curly cue approach to the 3-D V. Also how about some with color into the logo?

#80 - Interesting approach - We don't want the words New & Venture to become one word so add some spacing in between. Give us some more options please.

#56 - Interesting approach but we'd like to see something more V like (less flattened) and maybe give some color options and possibly a background to it.

# 74 and all designs by spandan S. We'd like to see the words New Venture in small capital where the N and V are a bit bigger than 'ew' and 'enture' but not a drastic difference. You do not need to change all of them but if you just give us a sense on one of the revised versions of #74 we can figure out the rest. Thanks :-)

#63 (#83) - How about the same light blue but a darker shade of grey or the same dark blue and a lighter shade of grey?

#89 - We meant small capitals not lower case. If you don't know what they are, check out the 'Small Caps' option in Microsoft Word under the font menu.

#87 & #89 - Would like to see these two with the reflection effect back in and the small caps

#92 - Nice work, but we are not sure we like the drop shadow effect. Also could you submit a version with the right side of the V coming out of the circle with and without a subtle arrow?

#83 - Could you submit the same design with small caps? Also, one version with a slightly smaller V (see your #69.

We ended up extended the tournament 7 days but we'll probably finish it early. My partners and I really like your work and your ethics. Thank you for staying on top of it :-)

Any chance you could give us #108 with a globe similar to #114 under the large V? We feel that a combination of the two would be very close to what we want.
