New Community ChurchLogo Design Contest

By the way, I'd really like the emphasis to be on "New Community" and much less on "Church." So if the logo can have the "New Community" letters be more pronounced and then the "Church" letters to be more subtle, then that would be great. And the tag line "Sometimes you just need a new community" doesn't have to be in the logo-- we can just add that to our advertising materials later. Thanks!

Our church name used to be Coram Deo Church (before changing it to New Community Church). As a point of reference I've attached the old logo that we used to use. I'm not suggesting the new logo has to be like that, I just wanted you all to know what once caught our eye. We liked it because the "CD" could have the text beneath it, or it could stand alone. I guess that's kind of what I lean towards now: a graphic or a combination of letters (NCC perhaps) that could have the church name in the logo, but that could also stand alone without the church name connected to it.

On thing I like from Entries #4 and #5 is the idea of the "group hug." That kind of resounds with who we are.

For #15 I think I really like the idea of a set of doors opening. I'm open to exploring that idea some more.
