Thanks for joining the contest. You're off to a good start, especially with regard to #20 and #21. I think the egg shaped head looks too alien as opposed to nerdy. The tilt to the halo is better than straight, as well. Maybe try a variation with a flat top Drew Carey shaped head and Nerd of God all on one line with the byline under it and the head to the left.
