Industry Service Industries Color Preferences warm, coffee based; browns, beige, reds, oranges with a good complement accent color. Our Ideas & Additional Information Our current logo (at www.neccocoffee.com) incorporates two "pyramids" or 3D triangles. This was meant to suggest longevity of the company and there is an interest to see the pyramids remain in some format but would also like to see the logo reworked without them. Designers are encouraged to think about submitting some designs that incorporate pyramids so they respect the history but still have a new fresh look. Company has been around since the 1960s and is still family-owned and operated and they have a huge commitment to community service. Not all have to have the pyramids, just wanted to see some with but also want to see without. Be careful of too much shading in the typeface - we want to easily be able to replicate logo as is, in grayscale, true B/W and reversed out.Would like to see some with the coffee cup or hot beverage reference, not just pyramids. The beans are important to reflect and this company has a long tradition and history that would pair well with something that reflects that. Would like to also see additional colors beyond brown - or warmer shades of brown in combination with others.Lastly, some need to be seen with both just "NECCO" and also with "NECCO COFFEE" - company owners interested in both.Thank you all for your entries - please keep them coming! 15 years ago sodear Client Thanks to all who continue to submit. We are drawn to the styles and logos we have ranked highest. We have decided not to have a coffee cup included in the design but so like coffee beans if it makes sense to include - but only if they are represented in a modern way. Look to Italian and European styles of coffee that have very clean, interesting looks - please look at the really high-tech, sexy and modern machines that we place in our customer's locations and they have a label on them from NECCO. Although they do brew and service large coffee accounts, we like the appeal of the espresso/specialty/one-cup coffees. Please see the following websites for some additional direction and inspiration based on the products we represent and sell and our partners: www.lavazza.com, www.keurig.com. Imagine the coolest coffee bars in hip places with great decor and vibe - that "feel" is part of what we're trying to convey. We want to make the leap from dated to very updated, hip but reflecting tradition.Thank you to all who submit - you are very talented and we have extended the contest because we know there's lot more to come! 15 years ago
