MyResumeBookLogo Design Contest

We are looking for something sleek, maybe with darker colors. We have a slogan that we are debating using "Job Hunting for the 21st Century". Think Skype, mixed with a starbucks type of logo. Facebook for job seekers. But nothing tat is entirely web2.0. We want it to appeal to young people, business professionals who are tech savvy and anyone who is willing to take that extra step to find legitimate employment. #6 and #7 are closer to what we are looking for. Maybe use grey, black, red, blues. Get creative with this, we are looking to form a consistent relationship with the artist.

facebook meets myspace maybe some darker logos doesnt necessarily have to do with the word book, as in volume of text. we are also interested in seeing just the name written out in a darker style hipper web 2.0 format as well

I'm confused, you say no black backgrounds, but 4 of your top 5 have them? are black backgrounds what your looking for ?
