The Blue represents trust, knowledge, wisdom and daytime and the orange represents reputation and the evening time.
The ball at the top with the radio waves represents technology and communication. The ball also could be seen as a head to represent an agent and the "T" in the middle would double as the body of that agent.
As I said before, the city scape is there to represent a local audience. The black represents Career/life path
I blended the first two letters ("mt") to separate "my town" from "media" and I chose that font for a slightly more feminine than masculine touch.
Now you will be able to see how this concept communicates the ideas you wanted.
The good news is you're #1 and if you could do some clever tweaking, you'll likely win.
The bad news is: we're not very excited about the logo.
It could be that we're spoiled...we KNOW this is a tough logo (3 words, descriptive, etc), however, I just know that the mark can be fantastic!
Here's what I'm asking for: Do you remember the "pin" that is used to show a certain point on an iphone map? We want this logo to basically look like that pin, but stylized in some cool and clever way(s). The styling could include the "broadcast" radio waves (we'd like to see them a bit curved as well) or some other smart idea, but we're all but SOLD on the concept of the iphone map pin. Please try a bunch of different colors/shades, and consider removing "My Town" and/or "Media" from the logo (the pin might suffice as an indicator of geography...a town).
Please try and come up with the Nike Swoosh equivalent for the map pin! I appreciate your contributions!
- In #111 I changed the angle a bit to look a little more overhead
- In #112 I changed the star on the "Map" to a "T" (for better relation to the name of course)
- In #113 I changed the color of the text to match the color in the logo
- #116 Added more waves to the left of the pin head and experimenting with blue
- #117 Slightly larger star in the middle and a smoother gradient on the orange pin head (the first pin head has no gradients which is better for print versatility I guess)
a. can you please increase the size and thickness of the radio waves (slightly...maybe 20% or so)
b. please make each wave a unique color (like submission one hundred forty six, but use your color palate not his)
That's it, if you want to do a few more, even better, I'll choose one as the final winner. Also, please send me your paypal e-mail so I can send you a bit extra. Lastly, would you be available to do a little bit of design work from time to time for us?
#215 and #216 have the requested adjustments. I'm still thinking of other possible ways of representing the "pin". I will continue support after the competition is closed. Thanks again!
