The checkerboard just doesn't fade to the left very well. Less dense, few checkers. I like the fade away idea, just doesn't look the way I imagine it....

I like the single checkerboard on the left of mountain better than this checkerboard. if you could make this one fade to the left cleaner, maybe that would be better. Definitely like the addition of the tach/gauge needle!
