Entry #1 is our favorite of the ones you posted.Can you play with a few variations of the ACADEMY - closer to the #2 entry? While we marked #2 not interested, we do like the ACADEMY part of it (instead of the orange on #1)

The cute yellow star / sun (with the glow in #8) is great also.

God job - we look froward to a few more renditions of #1.

here are a couple of ideas .... (just brainstorming to bring in more Preschool like ...)

how about a child's face inside the star center (the circle part)?

and the tag line is missing from #1. While the text will probably change, we still need a placeholder for it.
