We like #277 very much! Can you also play with #242 ? The figure is still a bit fat around the middle and funny looking, but we love this pose :) I Think for now you can leave the other concept as we really like #277

hi This contest is currently in judging mode during which period only the first ranked entry can submit entries. So you may have to temporarily ranked me first to enable me to submit the changes youhave asked for - hope this helps regards Mare
Hi Mare, #277 is still our first choice so far. I'm giving the other designer a chance to submit a couple final concepts/changes just because we still can. Pretty sure this is the concept we'll be going with. We may still have a couple small changes/refinements - but can handle those later. For now it's looking great. We do still also like the 'mandala' concept where the image is repeated in a circular way. Could you work on something like that with this concept to see what it would look like? Send us a message when you have it and we'll put you pack as number one - which we'll most likely do by the end of the day regardless.
Thanks so much for your great work, and responsive changes! Brian
hi Thanks for the assurances - i'll wait my turn. I did try the mandala concept but an abstract one with out the human element / yogo pose, with the yoga pose rotated around, your logo could be big and when reduced to small size you could loose details - i mean smallness might be an issue i hope you get my point, just my thought, will try and keep one ready. regards mare
Thanks for the reply. We've been testing the concept through our network and the design is still by far coming in as everyone's favourite. There have been a few comments along the lines of it's my favourite, BUT: - I wouldnt have realized it was a person unless I saw the other concepts - It looks a little corporate or like a night club - less like a yoga studio - There were a couple comments regarding colour (but that can always be adjusted last)
I agree about the size issue, if its too small the detail will be lost - thats why I had asked to make the arms more pronounced so that even small you can tell - i find the arms are what gives it the human touch (besides the head of course). Any other thoughts or ideas you may have are appreciated!! As for the mandala - i'd like to see it with the human element in place - have the head towards the centre, it could create an interesting pattern - but I leave it in your hands. You've been doing great so far!!
Let me know when you have something for us to see and I'll fix up the rankings. The other guys arent taking enough advantage of their last chance lol their modifications are worst than the originals.
Thanks Mare. Lauren and I both agree that ALL the mandala's are beautiful. You're very creative and talented. We would however like the mandala to incorporate the image of #277 so that the logo can still be identified in it. We would really like to have the logo as a stand alone image and be able to use the mandala as a background graphic or secondary branding element.
Hi Mare, I think we have pretty much agreed that #277 is a winner. We love the way you did the shading, but we want to see a bit more of the cyan color incorporated into the logo. We feel it is a bit too blue. Can you show us some variations with the cyan spread out a bit more? This way we can choose the winning version with the shading and colors we want? Thanks! Great work!!
Hi Mare, one small little adjustment if possible. The shading on the head makes it look like he's looking down. Would it be possible to rotate the head slightly counter clockwise so the brighter/lighter part is angled more forward and up?
So it seems like we've finally done it (almost hehe). #349 is our top choice! The colour isnt perfect yet though. It's a little too cyan which I find makes it a little washed out. Can you deepen the blue a little bit. I find the colours #315 a little bit more vibrant. If can try balancing the cyan and blue and little bit more we should be ready to wrap things up!
Would it also be possible to include the files for the mandalas with the final logo so that we have them to play around with?
Thanks so much for all your hard work. You've done a great job!
We'd also appreciate having your contact info if possible, in case we ever have future work we'd like your help with.
Sorry for all the back and forth - that's what happens when there's too much choice haha We're just try to make the final little revisions, getting it perfect!
#348 is the winner in terms of colour. If you can however make 2 final little changes to it.
1) Can you please rotate the head counter clockwise by 90 degrees - same alignment as #351. 2) Can you please adjust the shading to be somewhere in between #348 and #351 and also slightly soften the edging/border on the right side of the large circle (front body / chest area) to make it a little less pronounced (it works better in #348 since the blue is a bit lighter. In #351 the edging looks a little too sharp because of the contrast of the 2 colours).
Thanks so much! Hopefully we can get all this wrapped up today!!
Thanks Mare, unfortunately that's not what i was hoping for. In #351 the colour blends into 2 parts, in #348 there are 3. It was really the 'central' line that goes through the circle in #348 that was a little narrow. But I dont want to start complicating things more than we need to. We really want to get the logo finalized so we can start using it!
We'll keep #348 as is, but if you can still adjust the head as requested that would be great. If you think you understand what I meant above than you can attempt 2 final ones for us to chose from. Otherwise let's finalize on #348 with the head rotated 90 degrees.
Thanks Mare! Congratulations on winning the competition :) Thanks so much for your hard work and responsive refinements. It's been great working with you. Keep in touch, I'm sure we'll have more work to come!
