i really like entry #3. for "ink cartridge" purposes, #2 would be kinder.

Take a look at Hilsdale College www.hilsdale.edu. What if you loose the pillar and add a colonial period building to the side of the name?

I like where 27 and 29 are going. I still think we need a building icon in place of the pillar. I do not know how to upload images but go look at www.hildsale.edu, mtmary.edu, auburn.edu for examples. Try googling images of the college of William and Mary for examples or historic Utah buildings (not religious buildings though). I am seeking aid to learn how to load images.

#32, #31, #29, #27, and #14 are all beginning to have the look we want. Please try them with ideas from the images below.
