A place for every pace

We are one of the largest, most active running clubs in the nation, known for our low-key but high-quality club races, training runs, special events, and other activities.

We are open to new color schemes. The current colors are orange and blue (see jpg below.)

We would like a refresh of our current logo. We are open to any design that loosely or closely mirrors the current logo. This includes the sun/moon setting/rising over a windy road heading into the distance. We are open to new ideas and are certainly open to new fonts/layouts.

We would like the words "Montgomery County Road Runners" to be prominently displayed as part of the logo design--either within the design or outside of the design.

The design does not have to be round like the current logo, but my guess is that our board of directors would prefer a round logo.

We encourage designers to be creative and fresh with their design. We'd like designers to keep in mind that we are trying to make the new logo one that will attract younger runners to the Club but also honors the history of the club and the current logo that has been around for many years.

Second attachment is map/shape of Montgomery County, Maryland. Designers may be able to use this to incorporate into designs if interested.
