What We Do
Provide mobile DJ services for higher-end private events such as weddings, quinceañeras (sweet-15), sweet 16s and corporate events.
Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - Company name. The name alone creates a warm feeling to most of our latino clients.
#2 - Simplicity! That it is going to be simple to remember and recognize.
#3 - Cool! We want people to get a refresh feeling from seeing our logo alone.
Our Target Audience:
Women, between the ages of 21-45. A big part of our business is providing entertainment for weddings. Our new logo must appeal to the bride planning her wedding and the mother of the bride who is providing valuable advise. Also, with the name Mijo (Spanish for "my-son") we are appealing to the latino market in southern California, United States. Our clients are mostly college educated women with an interest for something that is unique and/or original from the vendors providing the services for one of the most important days of their lives.
I would like to see the following colors used in some part of the logo; white, orange, tan, brown.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
My previous logo used an image of a stick-figure as a DJ. While I thought it was really cool and felt really proud of it, I found out that it did not appeal to my target audience, women. I would like my new logo to be simple and apeal to women.
