Mighty Manatee ITLogo Design Contest

The Mighty should not overwhelm Manatee in the name of the firm. Mighty & Manatee should have a similar weight to them.

Please make sure the IT is differentiated in some way from manatee. It should be indicative that IT is the abbreviation for Information Technology rather than the word it.

Thank you to all the designers participating, its very exciting for us to see our company come to life with these logos.

FYI The species of manatee of the Mighty Manatee is the West Indian Manatee.

We have made 2 updates to our brief based on ideas that have come to us after this process started. They are repeated below. Again thank you to all the talented designers that have submitted their ideas for our logo. We truly appreciate your talent and time in the process.

EDIT: While we have a preference for gray, we have decided its not a must have. Also brighter (but not light) shades of blues and greens are welcome.

EDIT: We've had 2 thoughts. First we think a graphic mark that can stand apart from the company name if necessary is something to keep in mind.. Secondly we thought something with a vintage or retro design might be worth exploring as well.
