I’m Andrea Lyons. I work with Chris Grant at C. Grant & Company Marketing Communications. When we saw the competition, we thought it would be fun to jump in.
If one of our designs were selected, we’d want you to donate the money to a worthy cause; we do projects like this to keep us sharp and keep creativity flowing. It would be great to support your blog—we’re readers.
Thanks for your consideration.
This one relates more to your role as a business leader/thinker than as a blogger. The triangle points to the top right where a good business trend will point on a chart. Clean but with a sense of direction. Andrea Lyons C. Grant & Company
This one implies a corner of a page but in this case the “page” signifies ideas more than a physical piece of paper or book. Simple but has some meaning and some texture. Reproduces well. Andrea Lyons C. Grant & Company
This one has a little movement in it—wind blowing the upturned corner of a page. The page implies writing and ideas but also is an interesting shape at the favicon level. Kind of looks like a dialog box in a way too in the negative space. Andrea Lyons C. Grant & Company
This is a bold, simple mark that says “out of the box” or “off the page”—literally—and works well with the initials visually. Reproduces well at any size. Andrea Lyons C. Grant & Company
Our idea is that your communication is two-way. This shows how the blog and your other efforts involve listening and interacting not just talking. On this one, we want to make sure your mark complements and doesn’t compete with the comments counter dialogue box on your blog. Andrea Lyons C. Grant & Company
