Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - Energetic
#2 - Playful
#3 - Not babyish, too young
Our Target Audience:
Tweens - aged 8-13. Slightly more female than male.
These kids are smart, social, digitally savvy and are showing their independence and influence amongst both their peers and their family for the first time. They look for things that they can do rather than told that they can't do. So they are always looking for ways that they can do independently and with some autonomy.
Learning how to cook is one way a kid can learn how to do something for themselves and their family independently. And realize the reward when completing a dish and receiving praise for it.
They like to spend money - not only on the things that they want to buy but they also have an influence on what their parents buy. Their knowledge of technology also gives them credibility with some of these purchases. Friends are of utmost importance and sharing their knowledge of music, fashion, and media helps to enhance that experience with them.
Color Preferences
Muted primary and secondary tones. Blue, Orange, Red, Purple. Does not need to be all of these colors but should be more than one.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The logo should be energetic, dynamic and fun. Cool for kids. Not too "kiddy" or "preschool" looking. Should be something that a 8-13 would look up to and want to associate with. Aspirational.
