A proffisional, clean, corporate symbol of both " MV " where the " V " is highlighted in grey gradient to give it more 3d depth inside and falling back between the two legs of teh " M " infront.
cool. I have decided I like a landscape orientation. Can we try the graphic on the left? I also prefer all lower case "mellow ventures" with the tag right justifed beneath it
#162 , your requested changes. let me know if you want me to try anything or add some particular thing to this if it crossed your mind and want me to incorporate that ressembles to what you do.
I think I'm liking #162 or #163. The lower case seems to do it for me. The graphic "M" feels like it is floating a little too high over the company name. I'd like to see it either a little closer, and also to the LEFT of the text.
We are really really liking #171. When I look at the other URLs for competitor websites that I mentioned, all of their logos appear as solid white on a colored field. In other words, mono-chrome. How would #171 translate where I use it as a single color (all white on a colored background)? I think I need some flexibility to do this.
My team likes #171 as well. One of the feedback comments from my team is that the green starts too light. The comment below gives a different starting point. If we go with a monochrome logo, then the gradient would be irrelevant, and I'd find some color inbetween the starting point below and where you are now.
Also the other comment is that the "mellowventures" is slightly thin... not sure I agree, but if possible to see with slightly more weight, it would be good for comparison.
On a side note, i may have additional graphics work after this logo projects. Do you have a US$ hourly rate?
Will work on those revisions to make you do a comparison you and your team and figure out how it looks like with the font 1. tad thicker , 2. against a color background that is gradient and one that is plain color 3. will let you see how the logo will look like starting with the color mentioned above.
As per your requested changes, kindly find below :
1. #183 , starting with a darker shade rather then a lighter shade. 2. #187 tad thicker font version and #188 normal light font version 3. #185 and #186 this is how it would look like in a mono version, you would notice the slight space between the " M and V " so that you can still feel the depth / 3d effect and read it both as " MV " in the mono color option and the colored one, would be with gradient as provided above.
Let me know if you got anything else you want to try or see, feel free to ask me for anything.
I'm prepared to end the contest early and call #171 the winner. Can you also include the monochrome white (#186) and monochrome white (#185) with the color version (#171). Ideally, I'd like hiRes EPS and JPG (for printing) and low res JPG versions for the web. If it isn't asking too much, I'd additionally like the same set WITHOUT the tag line ("improving your results") so I can have some flexibility in situations where the logo too small to read the tag line.
Let me know if this works and I'll end the contest and declare you the winner.
