I think I prefer the landscape orientation as shown in #8 better than a square or vertically oriented logo (eg #7), but happy to see both. I think the landscape format works better in more places.

#12 - the 3D M feels overdone and out of place... will also be hard to use this on a business card.
#11 - I really like the combined MV... I'm wondering if it is too obvious or been done before (arrow point up from the V.
