Taking your advice and going off in a whole new direction! Looking through your website, I found 3 major elements - stone, water and greenery. I've tried to represent all 3 here without being too abstract yet keeping the strength of an iconic logo. I've added a leaf to the L in Marula but it can be wasily removed if it's not to your liking.
