We just started a website...very incomplete...but,it has our idea www.MarulaDesigns.com

#4 - I had a file size issue with Illustrator, so I had to export it to Photoshop to save it under the required size. Excuse the obvious pix elation in doing so...I'll fix the problem shortly and upload a fresh copy in full resolution.

#9 Wow! That is amazing! If at all possible we would like to see the Landscape & Stand out more.

#7 Very african! We like it, it's real dark though. # 9 is better but is very "Karate Kid"...
A natural sunset color fade might help..? THe lettering also fades away in the background ...outlining it?
Also more oval in shape if possible.

#2 Like fonts, cute insert.

#10 Good! Much more readable & lighter. Is there a way to strech the logo more eliptical/oval?

#11 The lettering reads easier, the dark background & tree dissapear. It is crisper!

#15 Excelent! Very easy to see what we do, who we are & still capture the silouhette!
The Spelling however......might confuse our clients. It's Marula not Maroula.

# 14 Has better color fade. The letters seem illuminated, well suited for Landscape lighting... stil too dark.

Remember, although we like the silouhette idea, we would love to see new, fresh ideas,

#9 Landscape & Design is important to be better seen if possible.

#16 We would like to see a different font on Marula. It currently looks too similar to Marlboro Cigarettes.

#17 #18 #19 The fonts seem to have outgrown the picture. Could you resize it more like you had in #16?
We like #18 For elegaence readability.
Ms Word has a fonts we like, Ahoni, Maiandra GD, Narkism.

Would it look odd if the weren't pink..? Just a personal thought.
The Landscape & Design would stand out more slightly brighter yellow & a very little bit bigger.
It looks fantastic!

#45 sorry to tell you this but your tree in your logo is very similar to One of South Africas largest banks logos

First National Bank They have several logos Onmore stylised then this

Dinou45 --Don't worry, they had a similar logo years ago.
They do not operate in USA anyway.

#32 We would like to see your Design in color instead of silouhette.
The background color makes the Company name not stand out enough.

dinou45 Im sorry for ringing the alarm bells it is sufficiently different from the Old first National bank logo and and they have changed their logo quite a bit so I cant see it being a problem. Your logo is great all the best.

The Designs..
We've asked some clients & Friends to comment on the Designs and the idea I'm getting is that the focus should be on the name not the tree. Secondly it should be clear what we do. The one by MGD has recieved good remarks on these terms. It has a clear u simple picture, big name & particular shape. It clearly stands out.

Our original sketch from the website was only our first idea. We would love to see completely different designs as well. It is okay to come with logos that don't include the tree and sunset. We have really enjoyed seeing all your designs so far. Keep up the good work!
