Marcato MusicLogo Design Contest

Great entries so far--I think the overall look I'm going for is less "fun" and "classy" and more streamlined and minimal. It's tough to be critical, but it's an important step for me. Please check out my website www.marcato-music.com. It's cheesy, but it's what it is.

Entries coming in are really cool--I'm moving some doubles to the "not interesting" pile (which is a very odd choice of title, but oh well). Please don't withdraw your "double" entry if you have a similar one in the ranked pile. I'm new to this and I still may want to keep ideas rolling as the contest closes.

Sign marcato is put horizontally. Everyone know about it, or only I.

Wiki is wrong about marcato. In fact, there's another wiki page that shows it the way I learned it. It should be a "teepee" accent with a little thickness on one side (engraving wise).
