Insaniac: again, you cannot use DIEGO´s face! that is a copyrighted image by Nickelodeon. It´s not allowed and CH may have legal issues for the use of this concept. You have to redraw the image and change the character so it doesn´t look like the copyrighted one.
Nat, I respect your thoughts here but I AM NOT USING DIEGO´s FACE. Does he (Diego) have eyelashes? Does he have green eyes? Is he a girl? The CH is asking for a “similar” style. This is what I am showing. I have designed many characters that have been copyrighted and “legally” all you need to do to a character is change it 10%. That can be done with a change of close. Lets lot lose sight that this is for a beautiful little girl that is a fan of a cartoon and soon she will be wearing a “t-shirt” with a sentimental design form a loving father and mother. Please don’t try to take away from the CH’s ideal image because of similar features to a face. I am doing what is asked of me. Good luck!
#39, #37 are cookin' baby. I hope you and Nat can get along cause as of now I'm going to have to split one/two with both of you. FYI it's her Birthday today so a shout out to her! Anyway, assuming this graphic doesn't get pulled it is very, very nice. love the gator, gear and especially the chunky proportions of the logo which are t-shirt/sticker ready. Notes: girl needs some boots, who goes jungle swinging in pink socks anyway? Also ponytails could be more hairish less explosive somehow. Great work.
Good point about the socks! I have no ill will towards Nat, Although she may not feel the same about me. I did send her a birthday wish. I am very impressed by her work on this logo and many others. She really puts her all into it.
I was looking over all of your entries, you got a great turn out so far and you still have over 10 days left. Some of the best wont post until you weed out what you don’t want. (I think you know that? ) :) It would be great if Nat and I are still at the top at the end, but we’ll see. 10 days is a long time.
