Our Ideas & Additional Information
It might not be good to use overt symbols of luck that seem to cliche. A cross between iconic and character might be explored. No clip art please; Needs to represent sophisticated, upscale, health and environmentally conscious--not the mainstream yet in Mexico. Small A+ segment of the market plus international community who bring or adopt dogs.

Additionally, I would like to mention that Lucky Dog Natural Nutrition Program should attract both up-scale Mexicans who travel and/or have lived abroad , and the international ex-patriate community who brings their pets to Mexico. So the logo should have universal appeal.

Thank you.

Thank you all for your designs. Although I have not had time to review and rank them, I will do so later today after conferring with a few prospective clients.

People I have asked seem to prefer the dog design, since here (Mexico) the 4-leaf clover is not as strong a symbol for luck, though I think it could remain as amore subtle detail.

These are great logos, so please keep them coming. There are several people involved in the review which is why the rankins have changed. We would like to see more versions of the logo both with and without the dog. Also, one of our focus group members likes the idea of the dog inside a shamrock (instead of a circle) and we like the paw-print shamrock motif somewhere in the logo. We also discussed keeping it simple, perhaps with logo designs with ho more three colors, to minimize printing costs.

Thanks again for your very creative designs!

example #4 and #5; we like these, but feel they are missing something . . . not quite sure what it is . . . maybe "too polished", too traditional . . . . it needs an "edge" to it . . . something to give it that "new, alternative, different" feeling....but at the same time "gourmet". We want to get away from anything that looks too commercial.

Designs are great!! Please keep them coming in.

This logo not for an American market, (though many of the clients will be) so it may take some tweeking to get a design that a variety cultures can identify with....it is for a high-end, all-natural brand for those who live a healthy lifestyle and want the same for their dog.

Also, although not in the original slogan, if possible I'd like to see "100%" or "All-" placed before Natural Nutrition Program in the slogan, as an alternative. THank you.

I'll review and rank again later in the day.

Our early feedback like the warm, personal relationship wout our best 4-legged friend, and the styalized paw prints is getting positive response. Max, my dog has such a personality (larger than life with a personality to match), so friends are saying he's the focal point of the neighborhood. Everyone knows his name. So translated into the design, I think we need to add emotion--a real connection-- but without downgrading the premium, nutitional aspects of the product.

Thanks again for all of your great designs!

I have had another suggestion from a designer that might also work, and that is to have graphics, symbolism or colors in the logo that represent wholesome, natural food. Meat, vegies, brown rice, The name is Lucky Dog, but the product is a natural nutrition program to give dogs a healthier, longer life.
Your designs are awesome and so creative, so please keep them coming in!
Thanks again to all for your creativity and persistance.

Hey, your designs are great, but the feedback I'm getting is that less is better. My potential customers in Mexico are upscale (relatively speaking), well-educated, environmentally-conscious, eat natural and organic themselves, and want the best for their canine family members. So I think the design/logo needs to be a bit more understated and sophisticated....not too clinical, however, as .I want to be different from the dog foods sold through vets (Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba, Royal Canine). Lucky Dog is home made from high quality, natural ingredients that are good enough for you to eat yet nutritionally balanced for your 4-legged friends. WE chose the name Lucky Dog, because it's easy for non-English speakers to understand, and that their dog would be lucky to have owners that feed them a Lucky Dog program. This is not a mass market product, rather a healthy diet for a small segment of dog-owners who want the very best, natural and nutritous food that will extend their pet's life. I'm not a vet or expert (though I plan to get endorsements from them)) rather a dog-owner that has seen a huge difference in my dog 's health on a natural, home-made diet. Although I lilke some of the designs with Max (my dog) in the logo, I'm not convinced that a dog is necesarrily needed in the logo since the word dog is there. And my market is a relatively small one in Mexico; sophisticated, globally minded, environmentally conscious, and somewhat "bohemian" and excentric (relative to the general population). And the product will be priced high; somewhere between the brands I mention above and the even more expensive raw diet (BARF) which is here in Mexico as well. Although I have wanted to see a dog in the logo, I think that designs that are clean and less busy will attract the more sophisticated petfood consumer that I'm trying to attract. Again, this is a very high end, niche market in Mexico, and so I need a logo/design that reflects/atrracts that.
Thanks again, and if you have any questions please let me know.

You are all very creative and doing a great job with your designs, so I if I have not decided on one yet it's more related to my lack of clarity in expressing my target market and this niche natural dog food .

Thanks for your patience and I look forward to choosing one soon.
